Ruki & Chris’ wedding ceremony took place at The Manor of Groves Hotel, Hertfordshire. The civil ceremony took place in the idyllic gardens at the hotel, followed by a traditional Turkish reception within the glorious Manor Suite. The grand entrance into the reception was led by the Davul Zurna, a traditional form of Turkish music played by a large double-headed drum and a wind instrument. Another Turkish tradition , the testi dance, involves an earthenware pot that is filled with money and sweets. During the dance the pot is smashed to reveal it’s contents. The smashed pot is a good omen for the newly weds to have as many children as the broken pieces!
Charlotte & Matthew were married at the splendid setting of Sandon Hall, Staffordshire. The marriage ceremony took place within the grounds at Sandon Hall at All Saints Church, a short stroll from the main house. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was held in the elegant Saloon at the main house and afterwards the wedding reception took place in something a little different…. a stunning tipi. With a cocktail bar just at hand, the evening was a festival atmosphere, complemented with the magnificent backdrop of Sandon Hall.
Elliot & Kyriaki were married shortly after the New Year in The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Dormition of Theotokos & Saint Andreas. The Cathedral and reception were beautifully decorated by the prestigious Red Floral Architecture who styled the space with sumptuous flowers and candles. During the wedding reception a Jazz Band and a Greek Band entertained the guests right until the early hours.

Peckforton Castle was again the setting for another great wedding I had the pleasure to film and be part of. Flowers and staging supplied by Red Floral with music and lighting expertly co-ordinated by Hipswing Entertainments. The spectacular setting of Peckforton Castle provided an excellent backdrop to Claire and Paul’s wedding photographs which were taken by the talented Matt Gillespie.
Helen & Mathew were married at St Margaret’s Church where the guests were charmed by the beautiful singing performed by Helen’s students during the signing of the Registers. After the church wedding the reception took place at the wonderful Grade II listed mansion, The Wood Norton.
